Chinese Metaphysics · Qi Men Dun Jia 奇门遁甲

Make the Right Decision. Every Time.

A strategic forecasting system three thousand years old, used by emperors and generals to choose the moment and the direction of every move. Ask a question, plot the chart, and read the answer — for a launch, a negotiation, an investment, or a decision you have been circling for months.

27 modules173 lessonsLifetime access

  • Stop deciding on instinct: read the situation before you act, with a structure you can check.
  • Time the move — the doors, the stars and the stems show where the advantage is, and when.
  • Carry your own oracle, instead of paying a consultant every time a decision matters.

The System

What is Qi Men Dun Jia? The Chart of the Moment

Qi Men Dun Jia 奇门遁甲 reads a moment rather than a life. Ask your question — a launch, a negotiation, a move — and the chart is cast for the time you asked it. Nine sectors (九宫) carry the eight Gates (八门), the nine Stars (九星) and the eight Gods (八神), each with its own element and its own meaning, and the answer is read from where they land.

  • Nine sectors: eight palaces around a centre, one for each direction.
  • Each palace holds the Gate and the Star whose home it is — 休门 and 天蓬 in 坎, and so on.
  • The eight Gods follow the Chief (值符) clockwise, wherever in the chart it lands.

Why Learn It

Six reasons this system is still unmatched.

Qi Men Dun Jia does not predict a fixed fate. It reveals the energetic landscape of a situation and gives you the intelligence to navigate it on your own terms.

  • Stop guessing

Most people make their biggest decisions — a career move, an investment, a relationship — on intuition alone. QMDJ gives you a structured, battle-tested lens to read the situation first.

  • Time your moves

The difference between a deal that closes and one that falls apart is often timing. Learn to identify windows of energetic advantage, and stop launching against the current.

  • See the hidden forces

Persistent obstacles rarely appear without reason. QMDJ shows the underlying dynamics at play, and the adjustments that clear the path.

  • Carry your own oracle

No more dependence on consultants or annual forecasts. Once you have the method, you have an on-demand tool for decisive clarity.

Your Instructor

Hi, I'm Sean.

If you have ever dipped a toe into Chinese metaphysics — or even just skimmed an annual zodiac forecast — I am glad you are here. The world of Chinese metaphysics is fascinating, but it can also be confusing: an industry largely unregulated, full of conflicting information, and often focused on profit over clarity.

I am here to change that. My mission is to cut through the noise and the superstition, and to bring a fresh, logical and transparent perspective to Qi Men Dun Jia. I do not believe in gatekeeping knowledge; I believe in empowering you to use it. If you are serious about moving past watered-down courses and mastering the real mechanics, you are in the right place.

“Qi Men Dun Jia does not tell you what will happen. It shows you the terrain — and then it is your move.”
  • Practitioner since 2010

The Way

What Sets Us Apart

義 · Our values

  • Autonomy — a strategy so you do not need a master forever.
  • Scholar's rigour — every claim tested against historical precedent, not modern opinion.
  • Feudal classics — the curriculum built faithfully from the original Chinese texts.
  • Radical transparency — the why and the how behind every insight, fully explained.
  • Exceptional value — one price, everything included, no hidden tiers.

忌 · The industry norm

  • Zodiac forecasting scams, designed to keep you coming back every year.
  • Certification mills — "practitioners" certified in three days, teaching the week after.
  • Watered-down courses — "New Age" interpretations that are unreliable and misleading.
  • No logic explained — "trust me", with zero accountability.
  • Expensive & Shallow — tiered courses that cost five times more and deliver far less.
  • 10,000+professional readings

Have questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who is this course for?

Complete beginners in Chinese metaphysics, and intermediate practitioners who want to master a systematic decision-making tool. It is written especially for business owners, entrepreneurs and strategists who need to stop guessing about launches, negotiations and investments.

  • What will I be able to do at the end?

Plot a Qi Men Dun Jia chart for any situation, and read it: its palaces, gates, stems and deities. Then apply it — strategic timing and directional placement for career, wealth and personal decisions, so you are designing the move rather than reacting to events.

  • Do I need to know Chinese?

No. Every term is given in English with its Chinese alongside, and the theory is explained from first principles. No prior knowledge of Chinese metaphysics is assumed.

  • What makes this different from other QMDJ courses?

This is not a course assembled from second-hand material. The curriculum is built directly from the feudal Chinese classics and taught with radical transparency — every insight comes with the logic behind it fully explained, so you can check the reasoning rather than take it on trust.

  • Are the modules released all at once?

The course opens in stages, a few days apart, so each module has time to settle before the next arrives. Every module's own page says when it opens, and once open it is yours for good.

  • Where is the course held?

Online, on this academy, entirely self-paced. It works in any browser on your phone, tablet or computer, with no app needed.

  • Will I have lifetime access?

Yes — lifetime access to the whole course, including the content added to it afterwards. In the extremely unlikely event that the school has to close, you will be told well in advance.
