Chinese Metaphysics · Qi Men Dun Jia 奇门遁甲 感情
Cast a chart for the question.
BaZi describes a life; Qi Men Dun Jia answers a question. This course is the whole practice of a love question: how to frame it so the chart can answer, which palaces hold the two people and the bond between them, how the gates, stars and deities describe a partner's heart, when a promise lands and when the void takes it, and how to give the answer that is no — with a library of worked relationship charts.

- One question, one chart — framing a relationship question so the plate can answer it.
- 用神 for the beloved: the palace that holds the other person, and how to read their intention.
- The gates and stars in a love chart — the temperament of a partner, and where a bond goes quiet.
- 空亡 and 墓 — the promise that cannot land, and the relationship that sleeps.

The Technique
A question, cast into nine palaces.
Nine palaces, one to each direction, with the eight gates and the nine stars set into them — the plate a Qi Men question is cast into. A love question puts the questioner in one palace and the beloved in another, marks the bond between them, and reads the two against each other: the gates and stars say what state the bond is in, and 空亡 and 墓 say whether a promise can land at all.
- One question, one plate — cast for a well-formed question, because a vague one gives noise rather than an answer.
- The questioner and the beloved each take a stem and a palace, and the reading is the two palaces read against each other.
- The eight gates and the nine stars read the state of the bond — open and advancing, closed and stalled, or broken and loud.
- 空亡 and 墓 mark the promise that cannot land and the relationship that sleeps.
The Problem
A chart answers the question you ask.
Love questions are the hardest to cast for, because they are the ones people ask worst. "Will I be happy?" has no palace. "Does he love me?" is asked three times in a week and answered differently each time, because the chart answers the moment, not the person. Qi Men is precise about this: a plate cast for a well-formed question gives a clean answer, and a plate cast for a vague one gives noise. This course teaches the framing first, then the reading — and it teaches the limits, because a chart that answers a question is not a chart that decides a life.
The question
A Qi Men reading is only as good as the question. The course begins with framing: what can be asked, what cannot, how to turn "will I be happy" into something a plate can answer, and why asking the same question twice is a reading of the asker rather than of the beloved.
The two people
The questioner and the beloved each take a stem and a palace. Reading a love chart is reading two palaces against each other — what each is doing, whether they combine, and what sits between them that is neither of them.
The gate
The eight gates say what is moving. In a love question they read the state of the bond: open and advancing, closed and stalled, or broken and loud. Read with the nine stars, they describe the person as much as the situation.
The void
空亡 is where a promise cannot land, and it is the single most useful thing Qi Men has to say about a relationship that keeps not happening. The course reads the void honestly: it is not a curse, it is a condition.

Common Questions
Before you cast for a relationship.
Do I need the Qi Men Dun Jia Masterclass first?
No. This course stands on its own: the palaces, the stems, the eight gates, the nine stars and the eight deities are all defined as they are used, so a newcomer can follow it from the first lesson. If you already cast plates you will move quickly through the foundations and spend your time in the framing, the love-specific readings and the case studies.
How is this different from the Masterclass?
The Masterclass teaches the whole system — how a plate is built, and how to read it for any question. This course takes one class of question and goes all the way down: how a relationship question must be framed, which palaces hold the two people, how the void and 墓 read a promise that never lands, marriage timing, reconciliation, and the discipline of refusing to cast. That is depth the Masterclass does not attempt.
Is this a fortune-telling service?
No. It is a course that teaches you to cast and read for yourself. Nothing here predicts your love life for you, and the course is explicit that a reader who promises an outcome is not reading the chart.
Can it tell me whether my partner is faithful?
It teaches the traditional reading of a third party in a chart, which is a real part of the practice. It also teaches what that reading can and cannot support — a chart describes conditions, not conduct — and the ethics of answering a question whose answer will be used against someone. The course says plainly when a reader should decline to cast.
